What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. 3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this obligation.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Job Postings & Employer Terms

Employers and recruiters who post job vacancies on our platform agree to the following:

• All job postings must be genuine, accurate, and comply with applicable labor laws.
• You may not post jobs that require upfront payment, are fraudulent, or misrepresent the position.
• We reserve the right to remove any job posting that violates these Terms or is reported as suspicious.
• Basic job postings are free, but we offer paid promotional packages (Featured Jobs). Fees paid for premium services are non-refundable except as required by law.
• We do not guarantee that you will receive any applications or hires through our platform.

5. User Content

Our Service allows you to post, upload, or submit content including resumes, job applications, job postings, and comments (“User Content”). You retain all rights to your User Content. By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content on our platform.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary licenses to your User Content.
• Your User Content does not violate any third-party rights or any applicable laws.
• Your resume or application information is accurate and truthful.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Posting fake, misleading, or fraudulent job listings.
• Uploading malicious code, viruses, or interfering with the website’s functionality.
• Scraping or harvesting user data without permission.
• Impersonating another person or entity.
• Using our Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any local, provincial, or international laws.
• Posting discriminatory job advertisements (based on race, religion, gender, age, disability).

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Jobs & News Pakistan and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written permission.

8. Third-Party Links

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible for any damage or loss caused by your use of any such third-party content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. JOBS & NEWS PK EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time.
• The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable.
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL JOBS & NEWS PK, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (i) YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (ii) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY; (iii) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed PKR 10,000 or the amount you paid us (if any) during the preceding 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Jobs & News PK and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees) arising from:

• Your use of and access to the Service.
• Your violation of any term of these Terms.
• Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.
• Any claim that your User Content caused damage to a third party.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to request account deletion.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.
